I did open water and advanced adventurer course at Crystal Dive with Alex as my instructor, and it was an amazing experience. Alex was the best! super nice, patient, and clear in his explanations, made me feel confident and safe throughout the whole course.
The whole Crystal Dive team was professional and friendly, had a great time with them.

🌊🐠 Had a great experience diving with Crystal Diving Koh Tao! The staff is super friendly and professional 🙌, and the equipment was in good condition 👌. The dive instructors are not only funny 😄 but also very knowledgeable, which made our fun dives really enjoyable 🤿✨.
What I especially liked: they are very honest and straightforward people, which gave us a lot of trust 💯.
The included accommodation for 600 baht is very basic 🛏️—okay for a short stay, but next time I’d probably pay a little more or book somewhere else nearby.
Overall: fantastic diving, great energy, and awesome people! Highly recommend for anyone coming to Koh Tao 🌴🌞.

Had an amazing experience diving at Crystal Bay! Instructor Todd was fantastic — patient, knowledgeable, and made the whole dive feel safe and enjoyable. I was also lucky enough to spot a whale shark, which made it unforgettable! A big thanks to Steve for capturing the memories so beautifully on video — something I’ll treasure forever. Great diving school! I just finished my open water certification here and it was a wonderful experience. The whole team is super friendly and the facilities are great, especially the schools own pratice pool and the two boots with crew. I especially want to thank my diving coach Thomas who did a fantastic job. I was a little bit anxious in the beginning and he was absolutly brilliant. He was patient and supportive every step of the way and let me learn at my own pace. He made the entire course, from the first pool session to the last open water dive, an amazing experience. Memories i will cherish for the rest of my live. 10/10 school for everyone interested in diving
I just spent 9 days at Crystal Divers and my experience was nothing short of EXCELLENT. I have wanted to get my scuba cert for many years and final I had the time to do so. I chose Crystal based on their website. Yet my actual experience was way beyond what I imagined. Their location is surrounded by anything you need. Their team was always clear, helpful and cohesive. I was paired up with Tom Schluter based on and I ended up extending my stay. I knew Tom’s experience and expertise was something I was going to benefit for years to come. In 9 days we worked through all the theoretical, experiential and practical knowledge of Open Water, Advanced Adventurer, Deep Diving, Enriched Air, Advanced Wreck Diving and did 18 -Dives. Never once I felt I was unsafe or that the skills required were not attainable through the way he taught. You can tell on the boat that they take their jobs with the right amount of seriousness for safety and wanting to have everyone enjoy their time while learning or fun diving. The accommodations and practical necessities were all great and for the pricing of everything, you can’t beat the value. GO HERE! You won’t regret it.
I have had an absolutely amazing experience completing the Deep Diving, Wreck Diving and Enriched Air Nitrox courses through Crystal Dive. The experience was made all the better by our funny, calm and encouraging instructor, Kelvin @kelvinkhkyaw, who made the experience fun from start to finish. The whole experience on Koh Tao has been amazing. To share my courses with my daughter Zoe has been incredible but was made all the better with an amazing instructor in Kelvin. I should also say, Kelvin helped us find some amazing wildlife under the ocean, including a truly majestic Whale Shark. I would 100% recommend Crystal Dive and Kelvin to anyone wanting the diving experience of a lifetime. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We highly recommend this diving school! Our Australian instructor, Todd, in particular, made our training both professional, paced, and very personable. He showed us the underwater world in a safe and enjoyable way. We felt completely at home the entire time! If you take the diving course or participate in Fun Dives, you can even get accommodation for just 300 baht. Next door is a restaurant where we always ate vegan Pad Thai tofu and were always able to store our breakfast milk. The staff was also super friendly! 10 out of 10 or 5 from 5 stars👌🏻
Getting my Advanced SSI and Nitrox certifications here was such a great experience! I bought the training courses at TDEX 2025, which offered an awesome deal—two discounted courses, two nights' accommodation at Koh Tao Regal Resort, and free underwater photos.
Our instructor, Luke, was super kind and professional. He made sure we felt confident with every skill. One of us hadn’t been in the water for a while and felt a bit nervous, but Luke handled it perfectly and made sure no one was left behind. He even brought us 'delicious' grilled pork with sticky rice for our morning dives, and gave us some great local recommendations for food and things to do.
The NTX tutoring session was held on the second floor of Crystal Dive school itself. The school location couldn't be better—right next to the pier—making it so much easier when carrying our kits to the boat.
Got good deals, got certified, got grilled pork—10/10 would dive here again.

Amazing experience getting our Advanced Open Water with Crystal! Coincidentally, there was a special dive at Sail Rock while we were in Koh Tao so we got to explore that magical dive site 😍 (super worth it even though we got sea sick otw there)

Highly recommended diving school. Very close to the pier you arrive in the island (and this doesn’t mean unpleasant at all, pretty nice place and clean beach). Did my first dive ever (basic and advanced open water courses). Big highlight was my instructor EVAN . Very Didactic and professional, good vibe, care for your experience .
They offer awesome accommodations for a very cheap price for the time of the course, so it’s super convenient to go right away when you get to the island and then go explore more after the course. Also offer discount for the second course and in the store. Very well structured, 25 years olds school , lots of friendly people and staff for all over the world .

Highly recommend doing your Open Water Diver, and maybe even the Advanced Open Water right after, with Crystal Dive Koh Tao. I did both certifications there and had the pleasure of being taught by Evandro, who made the entire experience truly outstanding.

Absolutely fantastic experience completing our Open-Water Diving Course with Crystal! The staff are all so friendly and we just felt really comfortable at all times (even when slightly out of our depth!). Loved it so much that we immediately signed up for two more dives the following day to work towards our Advanced Course. Special thanks to our very lovely and very patient instructor Alex who made it super fun and relaxed throughout. Could not recommend enough!
I have done my Divemaster program with crystal the last few months, it was one of the best expiriences ever! First of all, everything is professional, they have nice equipment, an maintenance team, surface cover for on the boat and many more. I chose crystal because of these things. Crystal also makes their Divemasters familiar with these aspects of diving during the program by giving small internship like expiriences. Next to it it was also AMAZING and really fun, the team is great, the atmosphere is fantastic and overall it was a lot of fun!
I did my stress and rescue course, and then my Divemaster program, just about to start my instructor course tomorrow.
Crystal Dive has the best facilities on the island and a really good flow of operation, everything is always on point. Also, the whole team is super chill, energetic and happy to help.
Can't recommend this experience enough, it has been an amazing journey! Thank you!
