So, last Summer (2023), I did my Advanced at Crystal and six month later I came back to do my Divemaster. Everyone at Crystal is so professional and friendly. Really recommend it if you’re looking for a fun dive school with high safety standards. Will definitely come back (again)!

Scuba diving was not something I planned on doing on my trip but I am very glad I did. The whole team at Crystal dive were excellent!I did the open water course with Kelvin (and Jonah) as our instructor and had an amazing time. I was a little nervous about some of the skills we needed to perform but Kelvin was super patient and reassuring while making sure everyone was okay and having fun - couldn’t recommend any more!:)

I completed my rescue, Tri Spec, and Dive Master courses with Crystal and highly recommend them. Beside simply having a blast, the guidance and expertise provided ensured I felt safe and supported, allowing me to learn at my own pace and improve incrementally.Being able to book good value for money long-term accommodation directly through the dive shop also brought extra peace of mind, making the experience more enjoyable.A huge thanks to Oli and Bob, the two course directors, my mentor Luke, as well as the rest of the staff for making this experience truly special. See you soon - as with all DMCs, if the nostalgia of collectively watching Koh Tao’s sunsets from crystal wasn’t already a powerful enough appeal, the prospect of free diving for life (included in the lifestyle package of the DMC) would surely do the trick.

Got my rescue diver, dive master, and some specs done here. Best diving experience i've had so far, very professional and organized. Great people and very social aswell. Perfect mix of work and play, cant wait to come back 😁

Maggots in the room!We did the 10 dive package and accommodation at Crystal Dive. The accommodation was terrible - the bed was one of the least comfortable I’ve slept in, the walls were disgusting and on the third day we woke up to maggots everywhere, which were coming out of the bathroom drain. We were moved to a room with nicer beds and no maggots but no hot water.The diving was good and our dive guides were friendly, knowledgeable and safe. The coral and fish were amazing! The downside for us as non-smokers was that the boat was like a 90s British pub! The whole upper deck (where you spend time on the way to/from dives and the surface interval) was filled with people smoking all 5 days. This included staff. Although our dive guides moved away if they wanted to smoke, others seemed to just chain smoke the surface interval with no regard for others. The downstairs often also had local staff smoking whilst sorting air tanks.In summary, the diving was good, but Koh Tao is full of professional dive centres - do yourself a favour and go with someone else.

Had the best experience with my diving course with Crystal Dive! The equipment is well organized clean and up to standards and everything is very professionally done. It was so much fun that I decided to do my advanced open water diver right away. Special thanks to our instructor Mathijs who did an amazing job teaching us the basic (and advanced) skills underwater as well as all about fishes and marine life. Can definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an experience of a lifetime on Koh Tao!

The best dive school hands down. Chill and easy and you get free accom during your course. you gotta request to get Mathijs as your instructor. He sure knows his way to a couple of fish. Kept it fun but real and will always look out for ya

Worth every penny!I initially planned to do my Open Water with Crystal Dive but I fell in love and decided to continue towards my Advanced!This was honestly one of the best experiences of my life and I felt so sad to leave!!Vera was my instructor and I couldn’t have wished for a better instructor, she was amazing! She was so calm, patient, kind and fun. She took her time with me and explained everything so clearly and in detail. I felt so comfortable with her and I felt I could ask her anything.Whilst in the water she always made sure I was nearby and I always felt safe in her company. This made the whole experience much more calm and enjoyable.The company was very well organised and I have no complaints!I hope to be back soon to continue with my courses!!

What an unforgettable experience!Completing my PADI Open Water Course with Crystal Dive was one of the best decisions I have ever made. We had heard such wonderful reviews of Crystal Dive from other travelers, we knew this was the place to go on Koh Tao!Our instructor for the Open Water Course was Bo and I couldn’t recommend him more - he is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and makes you feel safe at all times. He is always checking to make sure you are okay 👌 and made the whole experience so fun!We loved our Open Water Course so much that we signed up for the Advanced course - again this was led by Bo and newly certified instructor Glenn. Massive thank you to both Bo and Glenn for helping us create wonderful memories and helping us improve as divers in such a short period of time!What a Gezellig experience 🥳🫶🤌

I can't recommend diving with Crystal enough whilst spending time on Koh Tao, such an amazing location, welcoming community in an enjoyable team to be a part of, with ongoing guidance and support and overall such a satisfying experience all the way through!I did my Advanced Open Water with Tom, which was a great time in each dive at a different site to complete all of the skills and discover more beneath the surface and then was so determined to continue my learning and development so jumped straight into my Rescue Divers course, with Hugo as my instructor, which was perhaps the most fun I've ever had diving, as he provided endless entertainment, kept me on my toes constantly, not only learning in real life scenarios in open water and building on safety and survival skills to save others, but also improving on my comfort and confidence in my own abilities as a safer and more aware diver and driving my passion to pursue my diving even further, I will be back!

With such a wide array of dive schools available on Koh Tao, for a beginner it’s quite overwhelming to try and decide on one to choose to complete your Open Water, but my boyfriend and I, and also our 3 other friends travelling with us, were so happy to have chosen Crystal. Three of us enjoyed our first 4 days so much we chose to complete our Advanced Open Water too! Mathijs was the best instructor we could’ve asked for, balancing being sure we were competent and confident in our diving with being good craic. The environment in Crystal is a very friendly and welcoming one, and we enjoyed a BBQ at their bar one of the nights, as well as a few beers other nights. Big shout out to Crystal, we’ll be back soon!Eva and David 🤙🏼🤙🏼

My diving instructor Perry absolutely crushes it. I’ve never had a more informative and easy going coach before in anything I’ve learned. He made my open water course breezy and refreshing, I’m very happy I spent the time to learn to scuba, it’s definitely worth it.. and it’s nice to have someone who truly cares about the art of scuba to teach you! You can tell Perry is really dedicated to his craft and knows his stuff inside and out. I don’t know how the other instructors are at this dive school, but if they are anything like him then I give this a full 5 star recommendation!Also scuba is insanely fun. Don’t miss out

I loved loved loved Crystal Divers everyone is so nice, the course was so straightforward and I had so much fun! Would recommend it to everyone and anyone who has a love for the water and wants to experience Scuba Diving! A big shoutout to my lovely instructor Kelvin Kyaw who made the experience so enjoyable and special. Always correcting us and encouraging us through our theory work in a positive and gentle way and sitting with us after our dives over a fruit shake and sandwiches logging our dives and talking about what we saw. I really felt looked after and trusted Kelvin to guide us through the water 30 metres down. Thank you so much Kelvin! I will be back for more Scuba Diving!!
